About Our Centre
Trundle Children’s Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit incorporated organisation dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. The Centre is governed by a voluntary management committee, elected annually from parents and community members who are passionate about supporting local families.
As a dual-service provider, Trundle Children’s Centre offers both Preschool and Long Day Care programs for children aged 6 months to 6 years. Our experienced educators create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop confidence across all areas of early childhood growth and development.
To enhance the opportunities available to children and families, the Centre undertakes fundraising activities throughout the year, supplementing the support received through State and Federal Government funding.
Our educational programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), providing children with meaningful learning experiences that support their development and help them achieve positive outcomes for lifelong learning.
At Trundle Children’s Centre, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, welcoming environment with a genuine “family feel.” Children come together to learn, play, and build relationships in a supportive community setting. Our learning spaces are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of different age groups:
Joey’s Room (0–3 years) provides a safe and engaging environment with age-appropriate learning experiences, resources, and play opportunities that support early development.
Boomers Room (3–5 years) delivers a comprehensive preschool program focused on building confidence, independence, and the foundational skills children need for a successful transition to school.
Trundle Children’s Centre is proud to hold a Meeting National Quality Standard (NQS) rating. The National Quality Standard assesses education and care services against the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Law. Through ongoing reflection, assessment, and planning, we are committed to continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of care and education.
Our dedicated team looks forward to building strong, positive partnerships with every family. By getting to know you and your child, we can provide personalised support and create the best possible learning environment to meet your child’s individual needs and help them thrive.
About Our Programs
At Trundle Children’s Centre, we offer a comprehensive school-readiness program for children aged 3–5 years. This program is designed to develop the skills, confidence, and independence children need as they prepare for their transition to primary school.
We work closely with Kindergarten teachers from both local schools to ensure our program reflects the expectations and routines children will experience in their next stage of learning. This strong connection helps create a smooth and positive transition to school and is a valued part of our service.
Our educators carefully plan and deliver engaging daily learning experiences based on each child's interests, strengths, and developmental needs. Through ongoing observation and assessment, programs are tailored to support individual learning journeys and encourage children to reach their full potential.
Activities are designed to foster growth across all areas of development, including cognitive, social, emotional, physical, language, and self-help skills. Through play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore, problem-solve, build relationships, and develop the confidence needed for future success.
